My name is Michael, I’m an ex-music producer who also loves food.
What made you start your company?
I see there isn’t really a granola brand in Hong Kong so I decided to give it a go.
Tell me about your products?
Shun granola is a local granola brand, we are strive to combine tastiness and health awareness with our products. We tailor made our own recipe and my goal is to use some Asian ingredients as my core granola ingredients. We currently have three flavors in our Original, Cocoa and Black Sesame. The most interesting ingredient is our Kuromitsu, we make our own syrup with Kokuto (Brown sugar imported from Okinawa Japan).
What struggles have you faced when getting into the industry?
There are a lot of challenges we are facing, from cost control, sourcing, finding our product consistency, factory licensing, meeting our client demand, product development.
